《标志》是为“校园艺术”活动创作的。这个活动致力于在法国大学校园系统内部制 作和推广与大学校园文化遗产和建筑相关的当代艺术作品。
在一个大学校园里一栋楼房的外墙或内壁上，出现一道绿色的激光光线。它在写一些 字母，一个词，有时是一个短语。它不停地用手写体书写，线条有些犹豫。它一会儿 消失不见，一会儿将自己划掉。有时能完整地写出一些词，有时却做不到。
屏幕上出现的这些词来自这个大学校园里经常使用的有代表性的词汇，包括各类专业 和学术研究的术语，或者仅仅是生活用语。
在庆典活动中，从早到晚，这些词不断地试图成形，好像有一只看不见的手在书写。 这个持续的手写动作正如一个人正在形成、或正在寻找的意向性一样脆弱而犹豫。有 时在摸索，有时似乎更肯定，这个不熟练的书写在召唤它的观众的注意 – 他们可能了 解它的内容，它的用语。它也在邀请观众追溯谁是背后的作者和推手：“谁”在制作 这些词？为什么？如何？这些词属于谁？谁在寻找它们？
